| From Atlanta: take I-85 North stay left onto I-985 North 985 turns into 441 North follow 441 North past Franklin to Dillsboro At Dillsboro, get in LH lane and follow exit signs toward Cherokee You will be on 74 west (4-lane)
Go about a mile and turn right on Old 19, just past Marks Garage.
Take the next right onto Buckner Branch for 3 miles. (follow signs
for Midway Baptist Church)
Approx 7/10 miles to Midway Baptist Church and Laurel Branch Cemetery
road, a paved road on the RIGHT before you get to the top of the ridge.
Note: If you do miss Laurel Branch, you will see the old, old, Midway
Baptist Church on the left. Turn around and its the first road on the left. Welcome, key is in lockbox by door. Push center button down to clear and enter code. |
From Asheville/Charlotte/Knoxville: Take I-40 West from Asheville, or I-40 East from Knoxville Take Exit 27 Waynesville exit (Hwy 74 west) (4-lane) Stay on 74 west past Sylva to Bryson City exit 67 Exit right off Exit 67 into Bryson City Turn left at second red light (going past Pizza Hut) Go about a mile and turn right on Old 19, just past Marks Garage.
Take the next right onto Buckner Branch for 3 miles. (follow signs
for Midway Baptist Church)
Approx 7/10 miles to Midway Baptist Church and Laurel Branch Cemetery road, turn off on Laurel Branch Cemetery Road, go past the church and down the hill. When the pavement ends, you will be looking at Sunset View Cabin, just ahead on the right. DO NOT take Roy Gibby road - gps is incorrect.
